Pearl Shield is a transparent nanometric coating with high chemical inertia that maximizes cleaning and protection of all types of metallic and non-metallic material
With Pearl Shield nanotechnology coating the surface hardness is 500 — 550 Hv (9H pencil hardness) with anti-scratch properties. This feature makes it particularly suitable for the protection of any type of material: not only aluminum, steel and metals in general but also plastics, carbon, glass and, more generally, any material that needs to benefit of anti-scratch properties.
This nanometric coating considerably increases the resistance to corrosion and chemical attack; on aluminum and brass over 200 hours are obtained in salt spray. This property can be used, in particular to protect aluminum, as a substitute for anodizing treatment or, together with this one, to protect and preserve its properties over time also against acids and bases.
Pearl Shield nanotechnology coating offers peerless anti-adhesive performances. This property makes it ideal also as release agent for moulds of any kind and any material: it results an exceptional release agent for moulds in carbon fiber, aluminum, etc. Its anti-adhesive properties make it incredibly effective also to undo the intrinsic adhesion of rubber and silicones.
Nanotechnology coating is transparent but reacts to light generating an iridescent effect more visible when the particular is mirror polished
The thickness to which the nanometric coating is applied is not more than 0.01 mm: it does not alter mechanical tolerances or threads and can be applied on finished parts.
High temperatures resistant
Pearl Shield nanotechnology coating resists temperatures above 600°C. It does not fear steam or boiling water.
Made at low temperatures
The temperature at which the nanometric coating is realized is extremely contained (20°C) and therefore does not generate any alteration due to overheating of the treated components.
